These heavy duty pitch pine engineers drawers have seem some life.  At some point during their life they've been covered in black paint which remnants of can still be seen.  With 6 deep drawers and brass cup handles they still have a lifetime of use left in them.

These would look fabulous in a mismatched kitchen, study, bathroom, bedroom......
