Wonderful Wonderful large French vintage wire basket in a lovely condition with a metal frame and beautiful time-worn wooden handle, originally used for collecting oyster, now perfect for foraging, flower collecting, fruit scrumping, allotment gathering, vegetable storing etc.
 
There wooden handle is mildly knarled with old woodworm damage.  This has been treated for woodworm as with all out wood products.  You can see from the photo that this does not detract from it's charm and vintage character.

These baskets have a gorgeous rustic appeal and work fabulously in a modern or vintage interior.
