Vintage Wine Hydrometer Townson and Mercer Ltd


All vineyards and winemakers would have needed one of these.  A wine hydrometer is used to measure alcohol content in wine.  Still in it's original case this makes an interesting gift for wine lovers and enthusiasts.  

The hydrometer is glass with a encyclical stem and a lead filled bulb to allow it to float.  The black paper covered cardboard tube is it’s original case.

This hydrometer was made by Townson and Mercer Ltd.
