Herisson's may no longer be used for their original purpose in France but they are practical for many alternate uses. These are a popular alternative to a traditional Christmas tree. We've also seen them used as mug and utensil holders. A great vintage item.
 
This is a fabulous size, perfect for sitting on a counter or table.  It has 49 prongs (1 prong is missing on the lowest bar.
