A beautiful gravy boat in a fair condition for age - there are  signs of crazing and a couple of minor tiny chips.  This is still a very usable gravy boat.
 
A Sunday roast tastes even nicer when gravy is poured over it in something as stylish as this.  Also perfect planted up with bulbs and seasonal blooms.
 
The ironstone does not have a smooth feel.
