Made in a time when toys were made to last - this is a fabulous tin globe made in the 1960's by Chad Valley.
 
The globe stand has a bold red tin base and cream plastic arm and the globe itself is tin. 
 
This globe is in a nice vintage condition.  It does have signs of wear and several minor dinks.  It has oodles of charm and character.  
 
The globe is marked - Made in England.

This is the second week our 9 year old daughter is offering her wares up for sale.  She bought this last year at an antique fairs.  She definitely has an eye for a good globe.  This is the first one she ever bought and has since built up a nice collection.  After her selling success last week she has decided to continue wheeling and dealing.
