We found this vintage filing shelf at a French antique market.  It was covered in layers and layers of dust.Lots of cleaning hours later we discovered that each section was labelled.  From the labels It looks as though this filing solution served many years in a French furniture store.
 
Made from plane wood this offeres a far better filing solution than a plastic file.  It has a modern rustic/country industrial appeal
 
This could be wall mounted or as you can see in the photo it can stand on top of a table top or desk.
 
This would fit perfectly in an office, in a kitchen with cookery books......
