Is it a Christmas tree, is it a hedgehog, is it a kitchen utensil holder, is it a mug holder? No, it's a French vintage galvanised bottle dryer, or Herisson (hedgehog) as they are known in France. Herisson's may no longer be used for their original purpose in France but they are practical for many alternate uses. These are a popular alternative to a traditional Christmas tree. We've also seen them used as mug and utensil holders. A great vintage item in a vintage condition.
 
This one has lovely legs which we have not seen before - perfect Christmas tree shape.
 
This is a fabulous size, perfect for sitting on a counter or table.  It has 100 prongs.  2 prongs are not original but have wire replacements which are quite old.  This doesn't detract from it's overall appearance.
