We believe this table originally stared off as a dough trough, where bread dough would have been placed to prove.  The shape and style is typical of that of a dough tough and it looks as though some time in it's life it has been converted into a table.
 
The oak used is fabulous - old and knarled.   It's oozing rustic charm  The top of the table comes off which is exceedingly useful for storage.
