This handmade hand-beaten copper colander has a handcrafted iron handle. It is a beautiful thing with a wonderful patina.  It would be a joy and absolute pleasure to use.  It has a weight to it but a comfortable weight that still makes it usable.
 
We have cleaned this but not buffed it to a shiny copper finish as we prefer the more muted tone of copper.  A quick buff would make it very shiny.
