Fabulous hand-thrown French rustic terracotta colander strainer dating back to the mid 1800s.  It is amazing that this fabulous colander has survived to live the tale in such a fabulous antique condition.  It has a rustic French farmhouse charm.
 
This is a half glazed terracotta colander strainer with glazing on the inside and left raw externally.  It has wonderful little nobbly feet.  
 
This would make a fabulous salad bowl, fruit bowl or to use as originally intended as a colander strainer.
