This is a fabulous example of 1800's French style and sophistication - silver plated French coffee maker consisting of a paraffin burner at the base and a coffee pot for pouring. The stylish coffeepot hangs daintily on a decorative chrome stand. Inside the jug is a filter.
I can't think of a nice way to make fresh filter coffee. If only i was a coffee drinker - I'd love to give it a go. It is the epitome of the art of coffee making.
This elegant set appears to be intact. It has obviously been lovingly looked after. There is a slight dent in the coffee pot but hardly noticeable. The silver plate shows some mild signs of wear and tear.
On the bottom of the pot is a mark - UNIS L S with an anchor motif
